MALANG – The spirit of sharing and social compassion colored the handover of sacrificial animals conducted by the Commander of Korem 083/Baladhika Jaya (Danrem 083/Bdj), Colonel Inf. Wahyu Ramadhanus Suryawan, S.Sos., M.M.S., M.Han., at Brawijaya Rampal Field, Malang, on Wednesday (27/5/2026).
The activity was part of the series of events commemorating Eid al-Adha 1447 Hijri, attended by the extended family of Korem 083/Bdj together with the people of Greater Malang in a warm atmosphere filled with togetherness.
In his remarks, the Danrem stated that the qurban ritual carries profound meaning about sincerity, sacrifice, and the spirit of helping those in need.
“The momentum of Eid al-Adha should foster empathy and social awareness. Through qurban, we learn to share happiness with the community,” said Colonel Inf. Wahyu Ramadhanus.
The Danrem emphasized that the bond between the Indonesian National Armed Forces (TNI) and the people must continue to be strengthened through concrete actions that directly benefit the community, especially during major religious celebrations.
The handover of sacrificial animals also symbolized the strong ties of friendship and the spirit of mutual cooperation between the extended family of Korem 083/Bdj and the people across the Greater Malang area.
Through the activity, Korem 083/Bdj hopes that the values of sincerity, compassion, and brotherhood embodied in Eid al-Adha will continue to grow within society, creating a harmonious environment filled with togetherness. ***
