TMMD Strengthens Community Welfare Through Accelerated Home Rehabilitation in Lumajang

Lumajang – Personnel from the 129th TMMD Task Force of Kodim 0821/Lumajang continue to accelerate the construction of a House Rehabilitation for an Uninhabitable Home (RTLH) belonging to Mrs. Ety in Ledok Tempuro Village, Randuagung District, Lumajang Regency, on Wednesday (July 22, 2026). With the installation of wooden roof battens serving as the support structure for roof tiles, the house construction has reached another significant milestone.

The work is being carried out through mutual cooperation between TMMD Task Force personnel and local residents, with a strong emphasis on precision and construction quality. Installing the wooden battens is a crucial stage before the roof tiles are laid, ensuring that the roof structure will provide optimal protection for the occupants.

Navy Platoon Commander from Lanal Banyuwangi, First Lieutenant (Lettu Laut) Sugeng Mujianto, said that every stage of the RTLH construction is carried out with full responsibility to ensure the house is durable and built to a high standard.

> "Installing the wooden battens is an essential part of the roof structure. We are making sure every step is completed properly so that the house will be strong, safe, and comfortable to live in. We hope Mrs. Ety's family will soon enjoy a decent home that provides a better quality of life," he said.

The RTLH program provides direct benefits to Mrs. Ety's family by delivering a safer, more comfortable, and weather-resistant home. Beyond improving the quality of housing, the project also brings peace of mind and renewed hope for the family as they move forward with their daily lives.

Through the accelerated construction of the RTLH project, the 129th TMMD once again demonstrates its commitment to improving community welfare. The strong synergy between the Indonesian National Armed Forces (TNI) and local residents, fostered through the spirit of gotong royong (mutual cooperation), serves as a solid foundation for sustainable rural development, in line with the theme, "TMMD Unites Steps, Building the Nation from the Villages."
